From June 17 - 20, members of the Antique Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada and the Vancouver Regional Group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America will tour the Boundary region of British Columbia on their annual June Tour. Nestled in a lush valley amidst B.C.'s Monashee
Mountains, it is an area with a rich mining
history and steeped in the culture of its early
Russian Doukhobor settlers.
The tour will be hosted at Johnny's Motel, 7291 Hwy 3, Grand Forks, BC V0H 1H9 250-442-8242 (VIEW MAP) We will gather in Grand Forks on Sunday evening (June 16th) for registration and preparation time. Monday to Thursday will be full day tours (50 - 80 miles each) travelling North, South, East and West before everyone heads home on Friday the 21st. NOTE: Some of the tour days will take us into Washington State in the USA. Passports may be required and appropriate medical insurance is recommended. Registration information will be available soon. earlier cars are invited to participate in this
tour, joining with the brass-era cars of the
chapter members. As always, Antique Chapter members are
strongly encouraged to bring their pre-1916
vehicles to chapter events.
