Members of the Antique Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada and the Vancouver Regional Group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America will gather in Merritt on June 22 for their annual June Tour. The next three days will be spent touring the grasslands and forests of the beautiful Nicola Valley. It will be historic, scenic, and of course great fun! in ranching, mining, and logging. Today it is a transportation
hub located mid-way between Vancouver, Kamloops, the Okanagan, and
the Fraser Canyon..
The tour will be hosted at the Best Western Plus Merritt, 3969 Crawford Avenue, Merritt, BC V1K 1C4 (250) 378-0700 (VIEW MAP) We will gather in Merritt on Sunday evening (June 22nd) for registration and preparation time. Monday to Wednesday will be full day tours (approx. 80 miles each) travelling north, south, and west before everyone heads home on Thursday the 26th. SPECIAL INVITATION: Drivers of 1927 or
earlier cars are invited to participate in this
tour, joining with the brass-era cars of the
chapter members. As always, Antique Chapter members are
strongly encouraged to bring their pre-1916
vehicles to chapter events.
