Once again members of the Antique Chapter, and
friends from other groups, gathered at Ken & Chris' place
in South Surrey for the 6th Annual Bring A Buddy Event.
Participants came from as far away as Edmonton and Washington
State and almost everyone brought a buddy or two. It's
always nice to have an event with so many new faces in the
group. It was first time out for Steve and Teri's
1911 Ford, a very nice looking acquisition!
After meeting at Ken's the group drove about 30
miles through the farmlands of the Fraser Valley, arriving at
Granny and Grumpa's museum/antique emporium. The 45
minute stop was not enough to see all of the huge collection
that Granny & Grumpa have amassed over the years.
The return route was just as scenic, although a
little wetter as the rain began to fall. Back at the
house, Ken and Chris served up a terrific lunch, along with
the Keg restaurant serving Baron of Beef sandwiches.
About 20 cars and 80 people participated in the
day. Thanks, Ken and Chris for putting this event on
again!
