| All
day long cars arrived from around the province. With each new
arrival came a new story of the day's adventure. For some, the
heat caused vapor lock problems, for others the sheer distance
travelled made the day a long one. But by dark, all but one of
the Fernie Tour cars was parked in the lot. The rest of the day was spent adjusting and primping. Cars were washed and signs were hung. Some drivers made those final adjustments that time didn't quite permit in the days leading up to the tour. An evening reception and driver's meeting finished off day 1 of the 2008 Fernie Tour. Now it's time to hit the road ... |
