"Sand in Your Treads"

The 2011 June
Tour was held at the beautiful Tigh-Na-Mara Resort near
Parksville. Fifty-five people and twenty-five cars participated
and it was a great weekend. Although the weather was mixed,
including some rain, the group toured to such places as the Wildlife
Refuge, Butterfly World, Englishman River Falls, and the Comox Air
Force Base. It was the first time out for the 1911 Stanley Modle
30 (People's Choice winner) and a surprise appearance by Peter's new
acquisition, the 1911 Chalmers.
As usual, there were a number of cars that required attention and the trouble truck crew (Fred and Trudy) were kept busy. Many thanks to them for the dedicated support. Thanks also go to Brad and Sandra - along with George, Doris, and Bill -for their great work in putting this tour together.
